Título: Polarimetry of V1082 Sgr

Resumo: V1082 Sgr is a long-period CV (20.8 h orbital period) presenting strong variability in the active accretion phases. It is suspected to be a magnetic system, but previous attempts to find a polarization modulated in phase gave no result because the observations were not long enough. In order to circumvent this problem, we would like to perform circular polarimetry along several orbital periods. This will provide a proper data set to reveal any phase-dependent polarization variability.
