Título: Validating stellar masses using eclipsing binaries with solar twins

Resumo: The spectroscopy analysis has demonstrated to be a powerful tool for determining effective temperature, metallicity and surface gravity for solar-type stars. However, their radii and especially their masses are usually found with significantly less accuracy because the method relies on the precision of the stellar evolution isochrones, which is still not fully understand until now. Nevertheless, eclipsing binary systems provide a direct way to estimate stellar masses with high precision, since the method depend only on the variations in the light intensities and on orbital properties. Therefore, we propose to observe five new eclipsing binary systems, with solar twins as components, in order to test the different techniques for determining fundamental parameters, as stellar masses, radii, and ages. These targets have light curves from the TESS mission and we aim to measure radial velocities to fully solve the systems.
